Tutor Charlotte Comprehensive and Intensive Preparation for the SAT/ACT

 

The cost for SAT/ACT Tutoring is $180.00 per month and the student will receive the following:

  • This is very intensive academic tutoring that requires a student to spend at least 1 hour per day READING, STUDYING, and PRACTICING in preparation for the SAT/ACT. The amount of academic work a student does in preparation for the SAT/ACT depends on the parent and the student. The academic work assigned is based on my academic assessment of the student and the skills needed to score the maximum amount of points for the SAT/ACT.

  • The student will receive 8 one on one online tutoring sessions per month (No academic work is required, but I strongly recommend the student do all academic work in preparation for the SAT/ACT).

    • Online tutoring is Monday through Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. by appointment only.

  • The student may receive up to 16 hours Blue Classroom online tutoring per month (No academic work is required, but I strongly recommend the student do all academic work in preparation for the SAT/ACT).

  • The student will receive 12 hours of weekend in-person tutoring per month during these hours by approved appointment:

    • Friday 2:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m.

    • Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • The student will receive an addition 6 hour invitation to in-person tutoring weekly at a cost of $17.00 or $27.00 depending on the following two conditions:

    • To get the $17.00 fee for SAT/ACT Tutoring, the student must submit 100 SAT/ACT Math problems per session. The problems must be formatted correctly, neatly written, showing all possible calculations.

    • In addition, the student must attend the last 4 "Blue Classrooms" held at 9:00 p.m. M-Th. to be tutored on the 100 problems.

  • Tutor Charlotte academic preparation for the SAT and ACT is a rigorous intensive comprehensive program that entails the study of 13 chapters of Geometry including all postulates, theorems, and corollaries, 14 chapters of Algebra I, 14 chapters of Algebra II, 4 chapters of Precalculus, 10 Calculus problems, a comprehensive list of math formulas, English Grammar and Composition, SAT Vocabulary, and Set theory and Logic.

I will not accept a student in the SAT/ACT Program unless I have at least 90 days to prepare the student for the test.
