When your student goes on vacation for more than 7 days, please let us know the dates of the vacation when academic tutoring can not be done. We can make adjustments to the tutoring bill in regards to extending the time period for payment for up to 30 days. If the student is not doing academic tutoring for any time 7 days or less, make up tutoring sessions will be schedule to recapture the hours of tutoring missed.
The Tutor Charlotte Program II is a high-intensity academic support program for students in grades 9–12, focused on mastering secondary-level mathematics and language arts. Led by master tutor Dr. Kevin L. Powell, the program provides curriculum-aligned support to bridge knowledge gaps and prepare students for advanced academic standards.
Core Subjects & Content
Mathematics Mastery: Covers Math I, II, and III; Basic, Advanced, and Algebra I & II; Precalculus, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
Language Arts: Focuses on English grammar, reading comprehension, composition, and a specialized study of over 5,000 SAT vocabulary words.
Supplemental History: Includes lessons and lectures on American and World History via the Tutor Charlotte YouTube Channel.
Optional Science: For an additional fee, parents can add one science subject (Chemistry, Physics, or Biology), which includes a weekly 30-minute lecture and assessments.
Program Logistics
Monthly Cost: $170.00, paid month-to-month with no long-term contracts.
Instructional Hours: Provides 28 to 30 hours of academic tutoring per month, typically delivered as four 30-minute sessions per week in online classrooms.
Schedule: Intensive online tutoring is available 6 days a week.
Fees: Requires a one-time non-refundable $100.00 registration fee and a $26.06 orientation fee.
Key Features & Policies
Sibling Discount: A $50.00 monthly discount is available for the first six months for immediate siblings living in the same household (effective August 1, 2025).
Requirement: Students must have internet access, speakers, and a working printer for academic assignments.
Enrollment: Parents must complete a Student Application and verbally speak with Dr. Powell before starting the program.
