Tutor Charlotte is proud to launch our revolutionary Tech Literacy Advantage programs integrating Python Programming and Visual Studio Code directly into our proven academic support structure.
Bridging the Gap: Math + Code = STEM Success! Is your student prepared for the AI-driven future?
Students now receive introductory lessons in Python programming and Visual Studio Code, teaching them to write, debug, and execute code in a professional development environment to solve complex mathematical equations, financial formulas (i.e. calculating a monthly mortgage or saving for retirement using compound interest formulas), and the use of Excel.
We are bridging the gap between abstract mathematical theory and practical technological application.
Python Programming Integration-Hands-On Python Coding.
High school students now receive foundational lessons in Python Programming. This addition bridges the gap between advanced mathematics and technological application, teaching students how to:
Automate Math & Logic: Students learn to use Python to solve complex algebra, calculus, and logic puzzles—making advanced math intuitive and powerful.
Master Core Concepts: They will grasp variables, loops, functions, and data structures within a professional developer environment (Visual Studio Code).
Solve Real-World Problems: We apply computational thinking to genuine challenges, preparing them for university engineering, data science, and computer science programs.
Science Integration: Optional add-on of one science subject (Chemistry, Physics, or Biology) featuring a 30-minute weekly lecture and assessments.
History Enrichment: Access to specialized lectures in American and World History via the Tutor Charlotte YouTube Channel Youtube.com/@Tutor-the-Entire-World-Dr.

The Tutor Charlotte Program II for the Algebra I curriculum for Texas public high school students is fully aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curriculum. Our curriculum emphasizes four primary reporting categories that prepare students for the mandatory Algebra I STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) Examination.
The curriculum is organized around the following key areas that incorporate the TEKS Mathematical Process Standards and emphasize real-world applications and the use of graphing calculators:
Number and Algebraic Models: Focuses on using algebraic skills to write expressions, perform operations with polynomials (including factoring), simplify expressions with exponents, and understand functions.
Describing and Graphing Linear Functions, Equations, and Inequalities: Covers graphing linear functions and inequalities, calculating slope, and using technology to analyze statistical relationships like correlation coefficients.
Writing and Solving Linear Functions, Equations, and Inequalities: Involves solving single and dual variable linear equations, expressing them in various forms from graphs or tables, and finding domains and ranges of linear functions in real-world contexts.
Quadratic and Exponential Functions and Equations: Students learn to solve and graph quadratic and exponential functions, analyze their key features (domain, range, intercepts), and apply these functions to real-world problems.
Modeling: Integrated throughout all topics, requiring students to apply mathematical concepts to complex, real-world scenarios, often using linear models and data analysis.
